Who is John Sayer?
Every company needs that person who can magically connect the product to the customer – and John Sayer is definitely that person at Meet Me In The Cloud. John is our Collaboration Lead and by spending his entire career immersed in the Cisco collaboration ecosystem he’s become our resident subject matter expert.

“I keep my finger on the pulse of Cisco’s cloud collaboration platform- specifically the Webex Meetings Suite, and Webex Teams. As the Webex expert at Meet Me In The Cloud, I help with deployments, drive adoption, and help our customers realize the true value of their collaboration tools.”
How Meet Me In The Cloud & John Met
Prior to joining Meet Me In The Cloud, John was the lead technology evangelist for what is now the Webex Teams platform at Cisco. He spearheaded efforts in the Cisco CS organization to drive adoption working directly with customers to individualize their adoption to achieve their digital transformation goals.
Now at Meet Me In The Cloud, John acts as the Collaboration Lead, working as a consultant for Meet Me In The Cloud clients. Leveraging his experience with the Webex platform, he truly understands customer’s needs and connects them to the outcomes clients can realize through collaboration technology.
A strong background in customer success and business development drives John’s passion for helping customers leverage the value of team collaboration and the power of digital transformation.
It’s one thing to understand the customer’s perspective. But John takes that to another level: he translates the customer’s needs into requirements and functional design. He partners with businesses to make sure that each deployment is maximizing the user experience and business value for his treasured clients around the globe.
John Sayer Is More…
And John is well acquainted with the globe: he’s been to 21 different countries all over the world. Having grown up in England, John developed a love for curry and has since tasted curries from all over the world! His travels led him to explore restaurants in every country he’s visited, including, “Zur letzten Instanz,” the oldest restaurant in Berlin- established in the early 1600s!
True to his love of world travels, his favorite vacation spot is St. Maarten in the Caribbean, probably because of his love for scuba and the beauty of nature under the sea… and the subsequent relaxing on a beach after a good dive! And even though John loves his clients and his coworkers, his favorite person is his fiancé Amy – they are getting married in April! – and his dog, Vice. Add to that a hefty passion for Formula 1 race cars, and you’ve got John Sayer!
John brings his global perspective and a rich background in Cisco Webex to transform how our Meet Me In The Cloud clients – our partners and allies in the digital space – collaborate.
